2025년 3월 22-25일, 미국 콜로라도 덴버에서 개최되는 2025 conference of the American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL)와 관련하여 공지 메일 드립니다. 학회 참여를 원하는 지원자는 7월 1일까지 아래 서류를 준비하여 BK사업단 이메일로 제출바랍니다 (BK사업단에서는 지원자들 중 일부를 선정하여 펀딩을 지원할 계획입니다).

본 학회에 제출한 발표문이 accept되더라도 2025년 봄 학기에 지원 또는 참여 대학원생 자격을 유지해야 재정 지원을 받을 수 있습니다 (2024년 봄 학기 기준 석사 2학기(포함) 이하, 박사 6학기(포함) 이하만 지원 가능). 그리고 학회 참여 이후에는 학회에서 발표한 주제로 석사 과정은 논문 투고, 박사 과정은 논문 게재 의무가 있습니다.

Dear BK students,

I'm writing to inform you about the 2025 conference of the American Association for Applied Linguistics (AAAL), which will be held in Denver, Colorado, USA from March 22nd to 25th, 2025. If you are interested in participating in the conference, please prepare the following documents and submit them to the BK Office via email (bk21eng-educa@yonsei.ac.kr) by the 1st of July. The BK Office plans to select some applicants to support their participation in the conference.

4) List of the names of department and BK events in which you have participated over the past year

Although your proposal is accepted, you have to be either a BK participatory student or a BK fellowship recipient in Spring 2025 to be eligible for funding (only students in their second semester or below for Master's program, and sixth semester or below for Ph.D. program, as of Spring 2024, are eligible to apply). After participating in the conference, there is an obligation to submit a paper to an academic journal (for master's students) or publish a paper in an academic journal (for doctoral students) on the same topic as the conference proposal.
