There is a new supplementary article concerning publication obligations after attending BK21-funded overseas conferences or workshops. As many know, if you attend an overseas conference or a workshop funded by the BK21 project, you are required to publish an article within six months if you are a PhD student. Master's students must present proof of article submission within the same time frame.
If you publish or submit your essay to a reputable overseas journal, the six-month deadline will be extended to one year or one and a half years. Please note that you must first notify the BK21 office and get approval before submitting the article. Since the publishing process with overseas journals can be lengthy, your obligation will be considered met once you receive an acceptance letter. This rule applies to co-authored articles as well, regardless of whether there are two or three authors.
Thank you for your attention.
